Every year, in the month of July, the municipality of Esposende organizes a cultural event in the form of a historical reenactment: the Galaicofolia, an event that takes place in the heart of an ancient fortified village, the Castro S. Lourenço.

In collaboration with the Vila Chã town hall, the municipality of Esposende has been organizing a multi-day historical reenactment at Castro S. Lourenço in Vila Chã, located in the Esposende district, for the past 10 years.
